"TAKING THE TIME TO" : HOW ?

Some of you have already asked me advices because they were unable to do their exercises because of an impediment or a lack of time.
A big part of the secret girls is already said in the title of this article : it is not a matter of “finding the time to”, it's “TAKING the time to” !
When I hear some of you saying "but I do not have time", I often say "You have time ... You just have other priorities".
If that's your excuse too, it's time to question yourself about your motivation to take control of your mind !
If you know that you have the time, and you want to set aside time for your fitness exercises, here are my little organizational ideas, which I hope will help you. Note that I live in an apartment, as a couple and with no children ... but a dog!
I have a job with fixed hours and non-binding : 9am - 12pm and 2pm - 6pm. So, easy for me to organize my days!
For others, I realize that it can be more complicated, and I have thought a little for you.
The basic rule: be OR-GA-NI-ZED
MY SCHEDULE CHANGES EVERY WEEK
Make sure you’ve saved your next few weeks schedule somewhere (a picture in your phone maybe?), and set your fitness sessions according to it & follow what you planned !
No procrastination because "you’re tired" or "you’re hungry" or "you do not feel like ..." You'll be much more satisfied, and proud, after your fitness session ... Promised.
When you say to yourself "after work I’ll go buying this cute little top that I spotted, doesn’t matter if I get home late" ... Well the time it will take you to go to the shop, having a look around in the shop (although you already know what you want to buy), pay and go home, you could have devoted this tome to exercise.
I HAVE CHILDREN
Try to occupy them while you take time for yourself : Put them in front of a cartoon, let them play with modeling clay, let them do a puzzle, a drawing, a pasta collar, painting, ... They must be distracted. I would be more supportive to activities that allow them to be excited, or that develop their personal creativity. But this is everyone's opinion, and each child is different. Some adore TV, others do not remain captivated long enough ... You need to adapt !
Another solution that will not make you feel guilty about "leaving your child aside" : do your sports session with her / him? Tell him to copy you, take it like a game!
Was’nt it cute ?! You can adapt this to your cardio/fitness program ! Just think about giving as much comfort and to your child as you have, and don’t let him exercise with heavy accessories.
At last, I advise you to @activewithd Instagram account : a lady that lighten your day and makes many fitness videos with her child.
The last solution I can give you, is to let Daddy taking care of the children during an hour. It could also become their special moment
UNFORSEEN
I admit there is no solution here : appetizer with friends, family meal, surprise visits. You must maintain a social life. Being fit isn't more important than friends and family, just pick the best party once a week !
For the OVERORGANIZED girl that I am, I asume it was difficult for me to conciliate fitness and nights out ... I love to be able to plan everything, and enjoy every second of my day. I also love being able to organize everything so that I can find time to free myself to do NOTHING !
But when such an unforeseen happens, you must quickly think about everything :
Either I shift my session on the weekend (and I hold on, I commit myself)
Either I get up early tomorrow morning to catch up
If I am aware of the unforseen the day before, I get up early on D-Day and do my session before leaving for work
For the most serious contingencies like : injury, sick child, ... It’s not a prob if you squizze a session, or even a week.
This will not erase all that you have acquired ;)
CONCLUSION
You must have understand the meaning of all this girls, all is a matter of MOTIVATION.
If you are determined to change, you will always find the necessary time and you will always be able to organize yourself!
Imagine what it would feel like to be « fit » once you reached your goal … Amazing right ? Hang to it, and perform this fucking fitness program !.
